The stay included a large, comfortable room that overlooked a pleasant pool area, ideal for families with children. The starry nights were breathtaking, making it perfect for stargazing, although it would have been better if external lights were turned off later. Some areas need attention, like the spa pool resurfacing, and the queen beds could use support in the middle. However, the warm cookies upon check-in were a delightful touch, and the handy laundry facilities added convenience.

Perfect for Grandkids Adventures

We stayed three nights and the pool was clean and heated, the kids just loved swimmin' all day. Staff was friendly, especially Bear who made it easy when we checked in, walked us to our vintage trailer and got the grandkids excited!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but that just comes with the territory.

The location is just perfect for exploring Anza-Borrego's stunning beauty! 🏜️ Nice clean rooms too, but the steps were a bit dangerous. Would love to come back soon!

Our stay was fantastic! I absolutely loved the huge double queen room with stunning mountain views, the warm pool, and the visually striking old western town vibe. The jacuzzi at night was incredibly relaxing too, making it the perfect getaway!

palm canyon hotel and rv resort has a fantastic quirky design reminiscent of an old western town. the staff was super friendly, especially when they pointed us to the best stargazing spot on the property. the outdoor pool and hot tub were inviting after a long day outdoors. don’t miss the burger and shake food spot on site!

perfect base for exploring nearby parks and attractions

I had a fantastic stay with great access to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, just a short walk away, and I appreciated the spacious RV sites that allowed for easy parking and relaxing by the pools after a day of exploring. The hotel really catered to both guests and RV travelers with amenities that made it feel welcoming for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. I do think the beds could be a bit more comfortable, but overall, it was a wonderful experience in a beautiful location.

Lastly, the patio outside my room was in rough shape, making it less inviting for outdoor relaxation.

I had the best time staying in a Queen Room! The heated pool was perfect for relaxing after hiking through the fine local trails. And can we talk about the stargazing? The clear desert sky allowed me to soak in amazing constellations right outside my door!
